Well unfortunately IGI 2 never did as well as hopped, and it looks unlikely now that any other IGI Games will ever be released.

So what does this mean? It means that the site will most likely be shut down in the next few months, if I leave it up I wont be updating it at all.

The 2 IGI Games, were IMHO excellant games for there times. However they have now been surpased by other FPS games, both PC and Console wise. Lets hope other developers will make games based on former or current SAS Operatives.

I just want to close this post by saying that it has been enjoyable time and I have made some great friends out of the 2 games.

Im Going In

Well, its been awhile but the promised Mobile Edition is here (at least for news) just point your Mobile Device/Phone at http://projectigi2.co.uk/news andget a page formatted for use on the small screen. It took awhile and I havent been around as much as I have a job now so less time for games

Now that things are setteling down, I hope to get back in the swing of things and hopefully relaunch the old deltaforcecommand site for all games. I am looking for help doing so, so if you are intrested drop me a line.

Well since there has been litle news recently, I thought I would post some news about Star Wars Episode III is to be titled “Revenge of the Sith” mmm wasn’t that a similar title to Episode 6 before it was changed? “Revenge of the Jedi”

Today is the 60th Anniversery of the Allied Landings at Normandy. The staff here at projectigi2 wish to honor the soldiers who took part in “Operation Overlord”

While looking at the logs recently, I noticed a few people accessing the site on Pocket PC’s, when i tried it, I wasn’t that impressed with the layout’s handling of the CSS files, and I have decided to make a Mobile Site for use in Avantgo, or Pocket Internet Explorer for those that want it, I am very new to coding for a mobile device, so it will take awhile to move the site over, until then if you wish I have put the news page into PPC Format, Here It just lists the news and nothing else but will get you started until I can figure it all out

I will be looking for people to help test this out so if intrested drop me a line.

Just testing something…

I have spent the day moving the site to a new scheme, this is the first part of a update to the whole site that should see (finally) new content on IGI 2, and Other games based on similar lines (Far Cry and Splinter Cell for definite)

In the next week or so, I will upload the new info to each page, so check back reguarly

Let me know if there are any problems, at the moment the only one I know of is a bug with the poll it fails to display the result but if you vote it will register it.

EDIT: Poll seems to be fixed, and as a bonus I have added, both the Origanal Style and the New one, I will add more as and when I get time
Please use the comment field to tell me what you think of the new colour scheme, I am thinking of adding some user choices in the future.
